Virus Invasion

I hate fake Antivirus software.  I don’t trust the “scans” this scamware runs. I know what software I use and what it does. So when AV security 2012 tried to insert itself into my computer, I kicked it out.

Special tips:

• Adobe Flash never needs to ask for access to your computer, unless YOU are updating or installing it.
• In general, unless you know the software very well, don’t let it have permission to do anything, it shouldn’t need it.

(one exception is when software ask for updates)

• Don’t trust scans you didn’t request
• Keep your antivirus software up-to-date.
